	Bismillaah Al-Hamdulillaah wa salatu wa salaamu 'ala rasulullaah   Amma ba'd   Recommended Actions Pertaining to Adhaan Here are eight points from Shaikh al-Albaanee (rahimahullaah) concerning recommended actions pertaining to the adhaan. They are: 1. Purification 2. An elevated place 3. Facing the qiblah 4. Standing 5. Turning the head to the right and left 6. A loud voice 7. Placing the fingers in the ears 8. Calling it exactly the time the prayer comes in All these actions are recommended, and not waajib. Subhanak Allaahuma wa bihamdika ash-hadu anlaa illaaha illa anta astaghfiruka wa atubu ilayk   If I said anything correct, then it is from Allaah (subhanahu wa taa'ala), and if I erred, then that is from me and shaytan.
